Description
Looking for an academic with family who need a townhouse for 3-4 weeks in July-August. Our newly renovated historic townhouse has all new appliances, 3 bathrooms, great light, high-speed wifi internet, Apple TV and a yard in a diverse and safe neighborhood with great restaurants and convenient transit. It has hardwood floors, a stainless steel kitchen, long dining table, a cozy living room with great light, an office/guest room, a classroom/guest room and 2 other bedrooms (of a total of 4 possible bedrooms) We are academics who run our own program for college age students coming to NYC to learn urbanism and public policy. We are looking for renters, preferably academics, who will enjoy and care for our home for 3-4 weeks in July and August while we are abroad. We hope to establish a good relationship and to be able to share our house again over time. Hamilton Heights, or West Harlem. is a safe, diverse and quiet neighborhood with great food options and near Hudson River Park, CUNY and Columbia. We are near the 1, 2, 3 and A, B, C, D subway lines.

Comments: We will be out of town from July 21 to August 13, so the best duration for your stay would be July 20- August 12, but we are flexible on the front end, so you could start as early as July 12.
