This spacious and light apartment comprises the middle and top storeys of a Victorian house on a quiet, no-through road overlooking a park. It is located midway between Regent's Park and Hampstead Heath and is a short walk to Primrose Hill, Camden Market, Camden Town, Hampstead and Belsize Park. Central London is a short tube or bus ride away and the British Library and Bloomsbury (for The British Museum, UCL and London University) are easily accessible by public transport. The road is quiet, but the surrounding areas of Kentish Town, Camden and Chalk Farm are vibrant and multi-cultural, with the Round House Theatre, Camden Market and the Jazz Cafe on the doorstep, as well as an abundance of pubs, restaurants, clubs, cinemas, theatres and music venues. There are several supermarkets nearby, with a wealth of independent food shops on Kentish Town Road, Chalk Farm Road, Haverstock Hill and Fortess Road. The flat is close to the extensive open parkland of Hampstead Heath, Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, and overlooks the small and pretty Talacre Gardens, where a children's playground and sports centre/soft play area can be found. There are several primary schools within walking distance, the closest just two minutes away. Kentish Town swimming pool, with its sports centre and gym, is just five minutes walk away, and the nearby Talacre Centre also has extensive sports and fitness facilities. Camden's world-famous Triyoga Centre is also in the vicinity. There are excellent transport links – Chalk Farm and Kentish Town tube stations and Kentish Town West overground train station (taking you to Richmond and Kew Gardens for the National Archives to the west, or Stratford and East London in the other direction) are all a short walk away. Numerous bus services and overground trains connect to all parts of London, St Pancras International, the major airports and mainline stations. The bright and comfortable sitting-room has two floor-to-ceiling windows, a dining table with four chairs, alcove bookshelves with a large selection of books, including publications about London and its history, and a television with Roku TV stick which gives access to BBC iPlayer (showing live and catch-up BBC channels) and other UK catch-up services, and on which tenants can use their own Netflix and Prime Video accounts. The kitchen/breakfast room is well-equipped, with plenty of cooking utensils, saucepans, dishes etc, plus a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, cooker and microwave, as well as a breakfast table with four stools. There are two double bedrooms (one of which is on the lower floor, next to the sitting-room) and one smaller bedroom with a small double bed, and the large and sunny bathroom has a shower over the bath and a washing-machine and tumble-dryer. Please note that there are two flights of stairs within the flat. The rent includes Water and Broadband charges (but does not include Gas, Electricity or Council Tax). A cleaner can be arranged, to be paid by the tenant.
